Operation Mercy

What is Operation Mercy?
Operation Mercy is an extension of the services provided at the House of Mercy and is available by appointment only. Registered families are eligible to receive aid that is distributed by the severity of need. Through the generosity of donors and the community this program has been able to provide the emergency assistance needed for families.

What Type of Assistance is Provided?
The amount of aid is determined by financial need and resources available. Some of the assistance provided includes:

  • Grocery and gas card assistance
  • Food assistance
  • Utility assistance
  • Emergency shelter (overnight hotel)
  • Rental assistance
  • New car seats

How Can I Donate?
If you would like to contribute gift cards to Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Payless Shoes or to make a financial gift to help these families, you can contact us at 703.659.1636 or at [How You Can Help].
